What is Miyasi Lyrics?

Miyasi Lyrics (මියැසි) is a digital anthology of Sinhala song lyrics and their attributions — the singers, writers, and composers behind the songs. It is a calm, ad-free place to read along, discover who made the music you love, and keep the words close.

Miyasi is available as a website and as a mobile app. Lyrics are presented for reference, study, and the love of the songs, always with attribution to the people who created them.

What you can do

• Save favourites and build your own playlists.
• Sing together in shared sync sessions, where everyone follows the same lyrics in real time.
• Contribute lyrics, corrections, voice parts, and chords — reviewed by our moderation process before they go live.
• Stay in tune with notifications about new and featured lyrics (entirely optional).

How lyrics are verified

Nothing on Miyasi is scraped or auto-generated. Every entry is transcribed by a contributor, then reviewed by a moderator before it is published — corrections, chord positions, and singer parts go through the same review. Entries that fail review are sent back rather than published.

That history is public, not hidden: every song page lists its contributors and what each person did, and the full timeline is a click away on that song’s history page. If you spot a mistake, you can suggest a fix on the song itself and it enters the same review queue.

• Attributed — singers, lyricists and melodists are credited on every song, and each credit links to that artist’s page.
• Reviewed — a moderator checks every submission and every correction before it goes live.
• Traceable — the contribution log on each song records who added or changed what, and when.

Lyrics are contributed and corrected by users and presented for reference and fan use, with attribution to their rights holders — lyrics and music remain © their respective owners.
